2018 Audi Q7 Review

Even though sedans still rule the roads, it's a crossover sport utility vehicle world. Every day more crossovers hit the roads, and the segment is getting more crowded every day. The most recent trend in crossovers is the luxury model. Just about every high-end luxury vehicle manufacturer these days is getting into the game with a complete range of sport utility vehicles. Drivers in the Devon, Conshohocken and Malvern areas demand only the best to get them around town, and they know that Audi is a leader in luxury crossovers.

The new 2018 Audi Q7 is one of the best luxury midsized crossovers in the segment, with an outstanding and ideal combination of comfort, performance and technology all with outstanding value. But does it live up to the hype? Let's check out the options, features, performance and luxury under the hood of this new model by reading Audi Devon's 2018 Audi Q7 review.

2018 Audi Q7 Devon, PA

There's no denying that the 2018 Audi Q7 is poised to stand among the top crossovers in the luxury midsize SUV market. Between its nimble handling, impressive technology, outstanding visibility, superb engine power, and comfortable drive experience, there's not much to dislike about this vehicle. There's not much new this year, save for some shuffling of features among the different trim levels, but that's a good thing after last year's outstanding full redesign.

2018 Audi Q7 Review: Trim Levels

As with all of Audi's vehicles, there are three trim levels available for the Q7: the Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige levels. However, almost every option is available at just about every level. The basic equipment alone is fairly impressive, though.

It comes with leather upholstery, power-adjust and heated front seats, triple-zone climate control, keyless ignition and entry, rearview camera, color driver information display, the Audi MMI infotainment center with 7-inch display, Bluetooth, dual USB ports and sound system with 10 speakers.

Higher level features and options include auto folding mirrors, power liftgate, automatic garage door opener, heated steering wheels, GPS navigation, smartphone integration, upgraded Bose or Bang & Olufsen sound systems, ventilated seats, and more.

Safety Features in the 2018 Audi Q7

The basic safety features include rearview camera, Audi Pre-Sense with pedestrian alerts, parking sensors, and auto-dim rearview mirrors, all at the Premium trim. You can also get a 360 degree top-down camera, adaptive four-wheel steering and adaptive air suspension, tons of driver aids and night vision system.

2018 Audi Q7 Review: Performance

The Q7 is a powerful performer in terms of engine and control. It's run by a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine which takes you from zero to 60 in 5.9 seconds, and brakes faster than most other vehicles in its class. The steering is outstanding, especially if you opt for the Adaptive Chassis, which gives you complete four-wheel control overall. It's authoritative, powerful and smooth.
