World Endurance Championships Belong to Audi

If you have been following the FIA World Endurance Championships this season like we have here at YBH Audi in Edgemont, Pennsylvania, then you have probably noticed that our brands racing teams have once again had some serious success.

While we may not have any of the super-fast racers our international teams have in our inventory of new Audi cars, we make up for it in luxury, either way it would be illegal to drive a vehicle like Loic Duval's e-tron Quattro #2 on the streets here.

For Duval this season has been filled with wins, and he and his teammates Tom Kristensen and Allen McNall, along with a second team of Audi drivers, have already locked down the manufacturers title even with two races remaining.

The drivers prize is still up in the air, however, Audi is already guaranteed to take that one home as well.  The two Audi teams have locked down enough points thus far this season to be the only teams able to vie for the title over the last two races.

For Audi the success in the Endurance Championships has carried over to other styles of racing, and the team driver Mike Rockenfeller won the drivers title in the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) behind the wheel of a RS 5 racer.

Audi has historically been one of the most accomplished manufacturers in the world of international racing, and their success is mirrored by the vehicles in our showroom serving the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania region.  Stop by our dealership if you would like to test drive one of our luxurious and powerful vehicles like the 2014 A8.
